My expectation of this mission trip is to bond with my team as we prepare for ministry together and face unexpected challenges.  I expect to be a little uncomfortable because I miss the comforts of home, but I'll become aware of what I can really live without.  I expect to have my heart touched by experiencing God's love for me and by the children He loves so much in Costa Rica. I expect that part of me will want to rush home, but part of me will never want to leave.  Oh yeah--and I expect to find out how little Spanish I learned in 3 years of HS classes.
