We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this missions trip. Here is what I'm expecting...My last minute thoughts contain joy and excitement! I'm a bit nervous on meeting everyone, but I'm sure that will pass the second I meet you all! I have no worries so far, I'm just putting this whole trip in God's hands and let him do his work through me. my expectations of this trip are to meet locals that have not herd of the word of God and really be able to communicate well to them that God has a special plan for there lives, and that Jesus died for there sins. I really hope to be able to interact and play with little kids, and my actions be a light towards them. I also hope that after this trip I wont take things for granted. My feelings toward this trip are to get out of my comfort zone and do what God wants me to. I have one prayer request, and that is to not hold back on this trip at all but to really be outgoing with the people of Costa Rica and my team, and also to listen and take advice and act on it. I hope God will move me on this trip to do everything in my daily life for him all the time and for my actions to show my faith to the team and the people of Costa Rica.
